Where Haiti Meets Mexico.

A culinary love story of fire, soul & culture. Every plate honors Haitian tradition while embracing the bold spirit of Mexican cuisine.

Our Story

Two sisters.
One legacy.

We are a Black-owned, sister duo building a legacy — one plate, one story, one fire at a time. Kreyol Con Fuego is the marriage of the home we come from and the home we've made: Haitian soul meeting Mexican heart in the desert of Tucson.

Two diasporas, one fire. We cook the way our grandmothers did — with intention, with memory, with the kind of heat that warms rather than burns. This is culinary kinship, and it's ours to share with the world.

Our Legacy

Built by two,
for the generations.

A sister duo. A shared fire. A legacy plated one meal at a time — and handed forward.

We are sisters — and we are building something that outlives us. Kreyol Con Fuego began not as a business plan, but as a promise between two women raised on the same stories, the same Sunday kitchens, the same refusal to let a culture go quiet in a new country.

One of us carries Haiti in her hands — the epis, the griot, the diri djon djon that tastes like home no matter how far you wander. The other carries the bold, sun-warm spirit of Mexico — the mole, the birria, the patience of a braise that waits all day to become tender. Together we are not blending two cuisines. We are continuing a conversation our grandmothers started, across an ocean, and never got to finish.

“

We don't cook to impress. We cook to remember — and to make sure the next generation knows exactly where the fire came from.

— The Sisters, Kreyol Con Fuego

Black-owned. Woman-led. Diaspora-rooted. Every event we cater, every pop-up we light, every jar of hot sauce we seal is another brick in a legacy we're laying down for the ones coming behind us — nieces, daughters, neighbors, anyone who needs proof that their food, their language, their fire belongs at the finest table in the room.

This is how a legacy is built. Not in a single stroke, but plate by plate, story by story, flame by flame. Welcome to our table. Pull up a chair. The fire's already lit.
